External Support
Specialists that Cleeve Lodge work alongside
Our GP, Dr. Reed comes to visit our residents every week which means that she knows them well and is able to diagnose and treat a condition before it becomes a problem.
We have our own Physiotherapist come in each week, Will Fergusson from the Caring Physio. He has been invaluable and really helps our residents with their mobility and acquiring the correct equipment sooner rather than later.
We have our own care home support service nurse who will come and see residents that may benefit from extra professional support such as occupational therapy, falls nurse, speech therapy, cardiac and Parkinson’s nurse and psychologists. We feel that the support received within our teams has helped us build up an excellent community network.
We also have hairdresser who comes to the home on a weekly basis. Clergy of various denominations will also visit our residents at Cleeve Lodge and hold a short service for those who would like it.
Review meetings
We have regular meetings with our residents, relatives and healthcare professionals to review our residents every changing needs.
CQC Report 2019
Feedback from healthcare professionals was exceedingly postitive about the service. Health care professionals told us ' it is a wonderful place. If I had a relative I would definitely put them there (Cleeve Lodge) and 'its amazing. 'Absolutely fantastic'.
